Why oven mitts?

What an excellent question. Turns to camera.

Picture this: you're strolling through the packed aisles of your local homewares shop, searching for a trusty 'lil oven mitt. But what do you find? Designs featuring teacups and the words "Mummy's kitchen", thin fabrics that are going to burn your little fingers, imported goods that for $10.95 you just know in your heart aren't ethical. Please, make it stop!

Lights dim.

What if we told you that there's another way. An oven mitt with triple wadding to protect your little fingers. One that's ethically made right here in Melbourne. An oven mitt that's both cute and quality.

The audience screams: "SHOW US YOUR MITTS!"

Cue spotlight. "Whoa, so cute!" "OMG, the colors are so fun!" "I literally love this."

Lights flash. But wait, there's more! Grab That is proudly female and LGBTIQ+ owned, right here in Naarm.

Our oven mitts are crafted by the talented folks at The Social Studio, a not-for-profit social enterprise nestled in the heart of Collingwood Yards.

And our fabrics? They're printed with care by the wonderful team at Next State in Thornbury.

You're welcome. Takes a bow.
